Pins and Needles

I know that most of you are sitting on the edge of your seat as you read this first sentence. You might be asking yourself, "Where has she been?" The answer is simple. I had no internet access for approximately two weeks...two very long weeks. I didn't have cable either...or DVR for that matter. It was a wrong and meaningless existence. As a result, I am now positive that the meaning of life does revolve around the several television shows I watch and countless hours sitting in front of my computer. Really. Wish I was kidding.

Anyway, the internet hiatus will be extending this coming Wednesday again because....drumroll....I'm going to Costa Rica, suckers ! I am very excited, considering this is my second time to leave the country ! Anyway, you can be sure that I will document my travels well via journals and countless pictures...hopefully, a picture of a monkey or two...or maybe that volcano I'll be visiting...But I'm sure you don't care about something like that. Seriously. Try not to be jealous ! See you when I get back ;)

Is anyone else out there ready for Spring ? I've had enough of the many, restless nights I've spent indoors just hanging out with myself...don't get the wrong idea there ! But seriously, I'm just about ready to call it quits with my dvr....I can't believe I am saying this but there is only so much television I can take ! And forget about my complexion and dull and lifeless hair ! Daylight savings time could not be coming sooner !

In the meantime, I've been able to catch up with some long needed one on one time with my sewing machine. I'm still learning but I was able to finish both my pillow and make-up case (see pic!) solo this weekend. I guess I can't complain too much about the winter weather. It gives me the chance to catch up on my sewing as I listen to the low murmurings of my beloved NPR.
